Fleet and Swannery Trust
Introduction

Chesil Beach home

The Fleet and Swannery Trust was set up in 1993 to help with the conservation of the Fleet Lagoon, its unique herd of mute swans and its rare and threatened marine life.

The Trust funds the conservation work of the Chesil Bank and the Fleet Nature Reserve and Abbotsbury Swannery, and manages the Fleet Observer, the unique glass-bottomed boat that allows visitors to explore the underwater environment of the lower Fleet.

The Friends of the Fleet and Swannery Trust is a companion organisation that allows visitors to financially support the Trust. If you would like to become a Friend please contact the Chesil Beach Centre for a pamphlet.

Swanlink is a similar organisation which allows a subscriber to help the conservation work of Abbotsbury Swannery by adopting a swan. If you would like to adopt a swan then please contact the Chesil Beach Centre for a pamphlet.

The Fleet and Swannery Trust is registered as a charity 1040740

The Friends and Swanlink pamphlets are now available for download in pdf format (475 kbytes). Please fill in the application form and post to the address in the appropriate pamphlet:
