A common dolphin dead-stranded in Chesil Cove, Portland. Animal in good condition but with regular scratch marks on underside and one fin partially missing. Probably a fisheries by-catch death. |

Juvenile seal off Castletown Beach most of the day. Had round mark on head with the number ‘3’ on the back of the head and a yellow tag on the rear flipper. Readily approached onlookers and dogs. |
