Informative walk

5th - West Fleet walk
Visit one of the more secluded areas of the Fleet and look at the broad range of habitats and the historic importance that contribute to one of Western Europes's most important nature reserves. Meet at the Abbotsbury Swannery car park at 2pm.

Fossil walk

20th - Fossils at Ferrybridge
During spring tides more of the Fleet foreshore is exposed, so now is the perfect time to to explore for fossils. Join one of our guides who will help identify your finds. Meet at the Crab House Cafe at 1:30pm

Please note that all events are subject to change. Please contact the Visitors Centre beforehand to ensure the event is still as planned. On the day, the event may be cancelled due to inclement weather or insufficient attendance.

Standard charges for walks are children £2, adults £3.

The Fleet foreshore is not as well known as the coastline further north-west for fossils, but there are still many to be found. Of particular interest are the micro-fossils which are found in some numbers in this area. Why not come along and see what you can find.
