Events - January

	5th January - Fossil walk Meet by the Crab House Café behind the Ferrybridge Inn, 10-12pm. Wear wellies as it will be muddy. Adults £3, Children £2. NGR SY666763
	12th January - Walk at Ferrybridge Take in the history, habitats, and beach formation of Chesil Beach and The Fleet at Ferrybridge. Meet at the Chesil Beach Centre at 2pm. Adults £2.50, children £1.50.
	26th January - Scavenger hunt A good excuse to go beachcombing and see what the winter storms have thrown up on the beach. Meet at the Chesil Beach Centre at 2pm. Children £2, adults free!

The Centre is located at NGR SY668755 on the car park south of Ferrybridge.

Please note that all events are subject to change. Please contact the Visitors Centre beforehand to ensure the event is still as planned. On the day, the event may be cancelled due to inclement weather or insufficient attendance.

Scavenger hunts are always fun and can throw up a few surprises. The winter south-westerly gales can bring flotsam and jetsam from South America, the Caribbean, USA and Europe as well as much closer to home. There is always a good selection of material of both natural and man-made origin to rummage through.
