| The Fleet is an important over-wintering area for many species of birds. They congregate in the many bays to probe the mud for food or to feed on the zostera (eel grass). Butterstreet Cove is one of the largest bays on the Fleet and a good selection of water birds can almost always be seen here. |
Please note that all events are subject to change. Please contact the Visitors Centre beforehand to ensure the event is still as planned. On the day, the event may be cancelled due to inclement weather or insufficient attendance. |
