Join the warden for a walk in this secluded part of the Fleet looking at the birds, wild flowers and geology. Meet at the Swannery car park at 11am. Adults £2.50, children £1.50.

Meet at the end of Camp Road, Wyke Regis, for a walk along the Fleet foreshore in Pirates Cove looking for fossils. Wear wellies. Adults £3, children £2.

The Fleet Observer
This month will be your last chance to travel on the Fleet Observer before it is taken from the water to undergo its winter refit. For more information on the Fleet Observer click here.

Information on all events is available from the Chesil Beach Visitors Centre, open 10am-4pm. 01305 760579

The Centre is located at NGR SY668755 on the car park south of Ferrybridge.

Please note that all events are subject to change. Please contact the Visitors Centre beforehand to ensure the event is still as planned. On the day, the event may be cancelled due to inclement weather or insufficient attendance.
The fossil walks are always popular and cover four areas: Ferrybridge, Pirates Cove, Tidmoor Point and Herbury. Although the fossils may not be as large as those found further along the coast at Charmouth and Lyme Regis there are still a good variety to be found. The fossils are found in clay strata so always wear wellies or similar when on our fossil walks.
