Autumn birds week walks
Tues 2nd - Chesil Visitors Centre
Sun 7th - Abbotsbury Swannery
Meet at 2pm for a walk looking at the autumn birds of the Fleet.

Fossil walk

14th September - Fossil walk
Meet at the Crab House Café behind the Ferrybridge Inn at 11am for a walk along the Fleet foreshore looking for fossils. Wear wellies. Adults £3, children £2.

Ferrybridhe walk

20th September - Ferrybridge walk
Take in the history, habitats and beach formations of Chesil Beach and the Fleet at Ferrybridge. Meet at the Chesil Beach Centre at 2pm. Adults £2.50, children £1.50.

Rubbish walk 28th September - Autumn clean

The Centre is located at NGR SY668755 on the car park south of Ferrybridge.

The Ferrybridge area of the Fleet is a very varied environment with a long history. It has been the site of the main crossing to Portland for many centuries, primarily as a ferry, hence its name. Join us on the 20th to find out more about this area.
