Fossil walk

4th - Fossils at Pirates Cove
A guided walk around the shoreline of Pirates Coves looking for fossils exposed at low tide. Meet at the end of Camp Road at 10am.

The natural year reaches it nadir in December and with Christmas on everyone's mind we only have the one event this month. The fossil walks are always popular and it is worth braving the cold weather and short days for this one. The autumn storms often uncover new finds so why not get a breath of fresh air before the festivities start.

Information on all events is available from the Chesil Beach Visitors Centre, open 10am-4pm. 01305 760579

The Centre is located at NGR SY668755 on the car park south of Ferrybridge. For GPS users, the postcode is DT9 9XE.
