Events - March 2010

	13th - Fleet Spring Clean The winter storms bring in a lot of marine litter. Why not come and help us clean up the Fleet foreshore. 10am - noon. Marshalls will be at the following locations with litter bags: Oyster Farm entrance, Ferrybridge Pirates Cove End of Camp Road Tidmoor Farm House Please wear suitable footwear and bring stout gloves.
	20th - Walk at Ferrybridge Join us for a guided walk around Ferrybridge when we will look at the unique environmental and historic aspects of this area. Meet at the Chesil Centre at 2pm.

The Centre is located at NGR SY668755 on the car park south of Ferrybridge. For GPS users, the postcode is DT9 9XE.

Please note that all events are subject to change. Please contact the Visitors Centre beforehand to ensure the event is still as planned. On the day, the event may be cancelled due to inclement weather or insufficient attendance.

Standard charges for walks are children £2, adults £3.

During the winter months the southwesterly gales can move a lot of marine litter over Chesil beach and onto the Fleet foreshore. Each year we try and remove as much of this litter as possible ready for the summer. We will provide bags for you to collect litter and these will be collected and disposed off. We suggest that you should come with suitable footwear and stout gloves.
