Information walk

9th - Walk at Ferrybridge
Come on a guided walk around the Ferrybridge area looking at the broad range of habitats in this important marine nature reserve and also looking at the historic aspects of the area. Meet at the Chesil Visitors Centre at 2pm

Fossil walk

24th - Fossils at Ferrybridge
Join one of our guides for a walk around the shoreline of the Fleet at Ferrybridge looking at the fossils exposed at low tide. Meet at the Crab House Cafe at 1:30pm.

This will be your last chance in 2010 to take a ride on the Fleet Observer, our unique glass-bottomed boat. It is usually taken from the water at the end of October and laid-up for the winter. Bookings can be made via the Chesil Beach Centre.

As we go into the autumn the number of sightings of dolphins along the Dorset coast increases. If you see any marine mammals, including whales, dolphins, porpoises and seals while walking on Chesil Beach please report them to the Dorset Sightings Coordinator at Durlston Country Park.
